The Latex Free Knee Hammer, which uses Dr. John Madison Taylor’s original design, combines contemporary functionality and design to produce myotatic and plantar responses more easily and comfortably for patients.
To stimulate myotatic reflexes, the silicone triangular head features a beveled base and apex. The rounded apex and soft base are ideal for precisely locating tendons to elicit myotatic reactions. It is also appropriate for percussion of the belly and for obtaining chest sounds.
For better control over percussive force, the weighted anodized handle is carefully balanced. The triangular head is securely fastened halfway between the bumper peak and base by the encircling band with pin.
